The most common natural habitat for Jackson's chameleons are humid rain forests.
Typically spending the majority of their lives in trees, they will only venture out for mating or egg laying.
These habitats get as much as 50 inches of rain anually.

Jackson's chameleons are attracted to water dew droplets on plants rather than water in a dish.
Drip systems are the most common method for hydration.
