Like all other reptiles, these chameleons are cold blooded.
Their temperature varies dependent on their surroundings, but is always cooler than the temperature of the environment they are in.
Because they are vertebrates, they have a closed circulatory system. Blood flows through blood vessels with a heart that pumps blood around the body.
Jackson's chameleons have a three chambered heart.
Red blood cell count is low.
